I published an article on moon dialing in the May
1994 issue of The Compendium. Besides considering the usual approach, I
provided a program (in the digital edition) that will calculate a lunar equation
of time which, when combined with a usual dial reading, will convert to civil
time for your location and date. The program and article are available on
the NASS Repository CD.
