Can anyone point me to suitable styles of dial (probably from the Spanish-speaking world) that would be appropriate to the site, please.
Oops, (Sorry, I pressed the <Send> key before I finished) John, Take a look at www.relojesdesol.org/soler.html There are a lot of 'classical' sundials from Majorica As far as I know, all Jesuitic missions had a sundial, however it was usually made of wood or painted on the wall so I suppose most of them are erased. Here in Valladolid we have a very good set of these dials (carved on three walls) in La Santa Espina monastery, but need urgently be repainted so that they can be seen again.
