Please don't forget the beautiful dials on the so-called 'Tower of the Winds' in Athens. An imaginative interpretion of the Tower and dials was published by the late Prof. Derek de Solla Price in the National Geographic some 30 years ago.

I know of two sundials in Greece. One is at the YMCA square in Thessaloniki but it doesn't have the gnomon. The other is inside the university in Sindos.

I need help.  Does anyone know of sundials in Greece, particularly Northern Greece.  On my last trip - ten years ago - I used Gibbs' "Greek and Roman Sundials" but couldn't find any in the places we visited; I did however come across a horizontal dial in a large park in Athens.
