Dear diallists,

Our friend Inasio Etxea sent us a small collection of basque sundial
mottoes written in his language. As you'll probably know, basque is
a millenary language of unknown origin spoken in the corner of the
Biscay Gulf, between Spain and France. Some mottoes are modern or direct
translations of the common ones, but some others seem very old and of
uncertain meaning.

You can find them at http://www.relojesdesol.org/Euskalemas.pdf

Inasio (and us) ask for help to find more mottoes to enlarge his collection.

As Reinhold Kiegler said, this is a wonderful chance to make your mottoes
even more cumbersome, if you think that latin ones are not enough!!! :-)

Best regards and happy solstice,

Anselmo Perez Serrada
