and John Ward's book Sundials Australia : an explanation of how sundials
work, together with a description of some of the sundials designed and
made by Sundials Australia, particularly to their experiments with
shadows and surfaces.. I've relied in the past on the copy in my local
library, but have been meaning for ages to get my own copy. I was
recently in contact with Marg and John and was pleased to hear that
they've just reprinted the book, and I now have a copy.
In case anyone else _is_ interested in obtaining a copy, I am
reproducing a portion of the email I received from Marg:
Yes, of course we'd be delighted to spread our words to fellow-enthusiasts!!
The book is only available from us, at a cost of $20 + $3 {Australian
dollars}post. We keep some
copies at my home and some at the workshop, but we don't keep "regular"
hours at any location. There are answering machines on the phones at both
locations and a FAX machine at the workshop. We do not have credit card
facilities so it's cash or cheques.

but they are empty at the moment. First thing I want to put on is our 6 x A4
page brochure with all the pictures in colour, but I don't know when I can
