Actually i dont see any need to stay having W3c validation..
check out popular websites, try yahoo.com or even microsoft.com.. it will find loads of errors in them. And yet, they are displayed perfectly on my pc.

did you know that on several browsers, *every single webpage at tiscali.it* displays a blank screen inside its main frame? Because it doesn't comply with standards (in their case, the common Microsoft-related error of using \ (backslash) instead of / (slash). You don't know what people's browsers will do; by complying with standards, you maximize your chances of presenting readable pages. It's much like speaking nonstandard English (German,etc.): some people won't understand you; the less standard your language, the fewer to understand you. Is this what you want for your own webpages?
