Dear all,

Have you ever wanted to determine the average
EoT for the 16ht century or the solar radiation
received by a sundial surface along a whole year
or things like that?... No program makes such
specific calculations and for many of us C++ or Java programming may be unaffordable.

Well, there is a wonderful ephemeris freeware
at http://www.alcyone-ephemeris.info/main.html
that, among other things, processes scripts made
by the user. These scripts are very powerful and
simple to build and deserve spending some time
with them. The whole software is really astonishing!

Now changing the topic: has anyone tried one
of these little solar telescopes made by Coronado?
Are they as impressive as they seem?

Best regards,

Anselmo

I have been thinking of getting one for some time now. There are some great pictures taken by Gema Araujo through a PST at http://astrosurf.com/obsolar/sun.html
