There are many examples  of sundials made with the technique of the mosaic .

Among these I remember:

- the first image of a sundial is on a mosaic.  See  "One of the most ancient representations of a. sundial" in The Compendium Jun 2003

- The Anaximander sundial in

- In the garden of the Elementary School of Correggio (Reggio Emilia-Northern Italy) the schoolboys have built an analemmatic sundial (300 x 105 cm)  with ceramics mosaic and bits of marble.

- I remember  to have photographed a little mosaic sundial near the church of the town of Rovinj (Croatia)

- In the book “Le ore e le ombre” by Gian Carlo Rigassio at pag. 25 there is  the photo of a mosaic sundial in Geneva (Switzerland)
