A very comprehensive version of Microsoft 'Excel', complete with coloured
cells etc., included in 'Documents to Go' runs very well and was bundled
with my Palm Tungsten T3 so the standard formulae from Waugh's book fed
into simple spreadsheets do all the basic 'on-site' calculations for
altitude, azimuth and declining walls. Angle calculation are in Radians.

as a bonus I can now carry around a huge range of clear jpeg pictures in
my shirt pocket. They are quite small but adequate for informal
illustration purposes. The handbook tells me that it will even run
PowerPoint presentations but PC only and not Mac for some reason! ;-(
