Dear Sundial Friends,
A rather nice Garden Dial was stolen from the grounds of Myddelton House in Bulls Cross, Enfield (North London) in March this year and naturally they are keen to recover it.  Unfortunately they do not have many details of the dial and only a few snapshots.  The dial was not even recorded in the BSS Register!  Therefore I was wondering if any of you can fill in some details about this dial?  They would also like to hear if anyone has seen this dial for sale.  It was probably stolen for its ornate limestone pedestal, made about 1815, rather than for the dial on top.  I can send a snapshot and brief details if you think that you can help to trace this dial.
