Hello...

The Mail Archive owner has agreed to modify, at least for now, the way search results on the SML archive may be viewed.

Normally, only the most recent 100 results are available. Now, the latest 500 results may be viewed. Use the numbers at the bottom of each results page to jump quickly to other pages.

Again, I encourage experimentation with the "Refine search" function.

Best wishes,

Mac

P.S. The archive isn't perfect. If you find messages missing or ones which shouldn't be in the archive, please let me know (off-list would be great) and I'll see what can be done. Most errors will turn out to my fault -- I apologize in advance for my shortcomings.

Alas, it may be impossible to change the contents of the archive. Should any Sundial Mailing List members wish their future SML messages to NOT be archived, the FAQ about that issue states:

"Messages don't show up.

Some email messages specifically request not to be archived. Any messages bearing the header X-No-Archive: yes will not be archived by this service."

It may be that the same phrase at the beginning of a message will also defeat archiving, but I've not tested that.
