I am trying to find out what is the largest sundial in the world that is of the simple horizontal type (having a straight gnomon parallel to the Earth's axis). I believe that in Little Rock, Arkansas, U.S.A., there is one about 15 meters in diameter. Are there any larger ones? Roger Sinnott Sky & Telescope magazine
