Sorry to use up valuable band-space but I got an e-mail request for information on the Swenson Sundial from Gary Frazier at Texas Instruments, Dallas. My reply to his email address bounced.
The dimentions on the Sundial are:
Gnomon Length: 56.5" horizontal & 79.7" ploar length. The area of the wall
covered by the analemmas and the daylines is approxinately 56 feet wide by
30 feet high. It is this area that appears to make it the largest VERTICAL
sundial that I know of.
