The Sundial Register -------------------- by the British Sundial Society lists almost 3000 fixed dial locations on the British Isles. The book has about 210 pages and some colored pictures of sundials. After a short introduction to the coding of the information the main part lists the locations with about 18 items each page. Type, year, coordinates, materials, dimensions and so on are given. The locations are sorted by County/Region and within alphabetically. For example, in Greater London 81 locations are catalogued. After the catalog part the reporters of each sundial are given which could be reduced on fewer pages by omitting the repetition of names.
