I hope someone can help us. PN suggested I try this approach. A few years ago we visited Oxford and went to the Science Museum next to the Sheldonian. On a wall was a very interesting sundial. We copied down the inscription and subsequently lost it. We think it ended with something like "... when it's cloudy no service can I be ..."
