Helo All-

I have the Mayall and Waugh books and I think they both have very good
information. The Waugh book
was the first step in dialing for me,and has great information in a format I
could understand. The Mayall
book seems to jump to the next phase of dialing with alot more in depth
information on formulas and the
different types of dials, from portables to "The Great Dial At Jaipur India" As
well as the Armillary at
Phillips Acadamy in Andover, MA, USA ( A shameless plug for my home town.) All
in all the Mayall book
left me wanting to build every sundial they had in the book, and with the
information supplied you could.
Good Luck

Regards,

Henry
In the Pacific Northwest where a sundial only works from May to September.
