The "CLOCKS" list is an international list of over 300 clock and watch
collectors, horological theorists, repairers and experimenters. A few
announce for sale or wanted items from time to time. To join, send an
e-mail message, with subject line blank (or with a single space):
"SUBSCRIBE CLOCKS Your Name" (leave out the quotes) to the address:
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
The "WATCHES" list is an international list of mostly wristwatch
collectors, many of whom have things to sell, or who want things to buy.
To join, send e-mail message, with subject line blank (or with a single
space): "SUBSCRIBE WATCHES Your Name" (leave out the quotes) to the
address: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
The "CLOCKSMITHS" list is an international list of mostly clock
repairers. It is not quite so automated, so that to join, you have to
request membership from a real person whose pseudonym is 'Clarke Smith'.
He can be reached at <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. A friendly
request with a little information about yourself will probably get you
on.
Subscribing to any one of these will provide you with many new e-mail
addresses, websites and various sources of horological information
thereafter limited only by what directions you wish to go, by signs you
wish to follow, or the amount of time you wish to spend.
