Those interested in making solar calculations may want to use a WWW
resourse I just recently finished. My Solar Calculator, like the two
programs mentioned in this thread, makes use of the USNO solar
algorithims. Its output for the selected date is either text with data
values for declination, altitude, azimuth, solar hour and the equation
of time or a 3D plot of altitude and azimuth. The plot output is in GIF
format and is a very handy aid in visualizing the path of the sun for
various dates throughout the year.
I plan to soon include the times of sunrise and sunset in both outputs.
