I am searching for the sundial with the highest geographical altitude
( above sea level ) of your country.
In my sundials data bank I have registered the following items as the
highest in Austria ans Switzerland respectively :
Austria A-6482 St. Leonhard im Pitztal, Tyrol
Braunschweiger Huette at 2759 m (= 9114 feet)
created in 1992 by M. Hüttig,Wolfenbuettel,Germany
Switzerland CH-7504 Pontresina, Canton Graubuenden
Berghaus Diavolezza at 2978 m (=9770 feet)
2 sundials, created in 1970
Which sundials is the highest which you know of ? Please send me your
informations and thank you for your efforts. I shall publish the results of
this survey.
