You can read all about it on www.sundials.co.uk/~hornimn.htm. I would also strongly recommend the Dolphin sundial outside the restaurant at the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich, and the four sundials on the tower of St Margarets Westminster. all of these are by Chris Daniel, current chairman of the British Sundial Society" Can I also ask all readers of this mailing list who have faced similar problems visiting a new place whether they would like to produce a list of favourite sundials, or a Sundial Trail, to help others. There are 10 of these on the Internet at the moment, and we would welcome a lot more. They are divided by country, and listed on www.sundials.co.uk/favritna.htm & favritfr.htm & favrituk.htm and favritnl.htm Examples of sundial Trails are at ~seattle.htm and ~winton.htm. The others are lists. You can use any format you like. All contributions should be sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Sundials on the Internet) Thanks a lot Piers Nicholson
