Hello Doug
I think Alain gave you the best, see some of his realizations here :

But you can also have a list on François Blateyron website :
http://perso.orange.fr/blateyron/sundials/fr/cadraniers.html
Hope this helps

Subject: Dial makers in France
Is there such as thing as a list of sundial makers in France?
I have had an enquiry from a man in England who would like to have an
armillary sphere made for a house in SW France. The British Sundial
Society has list of dial makers (not all in the UK) and whilst several of
these could make armillary spheres, the enquirer replied "... I quite
wanted to have one made locally in the French tradition, but have not
found a good source yet."
Alain Ferreira gave me the name of Jean Michel:
ANSEL Jean Michel, Atelier d’Hélios, La Provosté, 72130 St Georges le
Gaultier – Conception et réalisation de sculptures socio–éducatives
d’astronomie; réalisation et restauration de cadrans solaires.

If any members of the List could help, I would be very grateful.
