Wouldn't a monumental horizontal look neat if it had a giant arm with
a sculpted hand with a pointing finger. Are there any sundials that
have sculpted hand gnomons I wonder?
I vaguely recall seeing something like this in a photos; certainly,
someone has tried it!
Less on-topic, a friend sent me a Power Point slideshow of Earth photos.
Quite a lovely presentation, and the third or so slide has a beautiful
image of the terminator...
