John,

This discourse has raised my feathers for I have been faced with the
same nonsense as a result of using photographs taken by me of other
craft-persons work on a non-profit organization's website.

After much consultation with legal-beagles on the state of "Copyright
Law" I came to the following conclusions:

1)  In the year 2006 (nearly 2007), Copyright Law is pretty much
nonsense with respect to images on the internet.

2)  Copyright infringement only becomes a factor when there is a whole
bunch of money involved that can be clearly shown to have been
profited  by the infringing culprit.

3)  An even larger amount of money must be secured to get any lawyer
interested in prosecuting the culprit.

4) In this day and age those that worry about such things must have an
excess of leisure time.
