Dear Sundial Enthusiasts, Normally I wouldn't send this type of notice to the list, but it is quite rare for these to come up for sale. It's an attachment for theodolites that allows more accurate solar observations. It works by splitting the sun's image into four overlapping images so you can get a precise center. I have one for my Wild T2002 theodolite. The prism was actually made for an earlier model theodolite with a smaller objective lens but it's easy to make an adaptor.
