I am over joy with the response I am getting, thank you all, this show how helpful people when they are passionate about what they like to do the most. It seems I need to be more patient to learn more before I start to dream to do big things. My first obstacle it really understanding the mathematics behind them. I happen to be one of those who are not satisfied by just coping things.

We all benefit form the notes posted. At your latitude at the tropic some sundials designs do not work well. South facing vertical sundials are often in the shadow of roofs and eaves. The ellipse with the hour points an analemmatic sundials will be quite squashed so they work well in terms of shadow differentiation near mid day but not in early morning or late afternoon. Horizontal sundials or vertical sundials facing east or west may be the best ones to consider. Check the recent postings and links on Mosque or Ottoman sundials. These show a rich scientific and cultural history for your part of the world. A dial showing modern hours, hours from sunrise and to sunset and Moslem prayer times would be a great project. This may seem to be too complex for a novice but tools are available to assist you to design and build an Ottoman sundial.
