I cannot resistpointing out that OS/2 Warp could do that 10 years ago. I used to run OS/2 as well as boot from a DOS diskette and also boot from a Unix partition at the same time.
I know my comment is nothing about sundials, but it does reiterate that IBM OS/2 was way ahead of Microsoft Windows 10 years ago. I have not tested any of my sundial software on Windows Vista, I have code in the legacy languages that run on XP (Fortran, Pascal, Cobol, Basic), and the newer ones (Visual Basic, JAVA, Python) but the CAD ones should work (TurboCAD vbs, DeltaCAD, and LISP for ProgeCAD). Euler, Octave, and Scilab may or may not work, Scilab has been having problems. DELL Computers have gone back to having an option for XP again because of the current Vista disaster.
