Over the past three months, Dave Bell and I have spent hundreds of hours making major improvements to the SGS website at: (educational) Stained Glass Sundials: <http://www.stainedglasssundials.com/> http://www.stainedglasssundials.com Have a look! Here are the improvements: 1. We have replaced the old medium definition photos with high definition photos, often using the high resolution photos that people have sent us. All photos are resized to the standard high definition television height of 1080 pixels or higher so that they will completely fill the height of a 1080 HDTV screen. We think many people will soon connect their new widescreen HDTVs to computers and some people will want this large picture size. Your browser will automatically downsize the large pictures to fit your computer monitor screen. 2. We improved photo descriptions and added more photo credit information. 3. The Image Archive layout has been switched around so that the pages are more balanced and eye-pleasing. 4. Website navigation and readability has been improved. We will soon be making the same improvements to our other educational websites (PWS and SCTC). Thanks to the many people who have helped us make these improvements. John & Dave p.s.
