HI Dialists:

 

I know most of you have seen photos of the magnificent multiple wall dial at
The Royal Palace of Wilanow, Warsaw Poland.  The photos you have seen of it
show it after its 1995 restoration.  The last photo I saw of it was taken in
early 2009 and it was covered in scaffolding undergoing a building painting.
I have just found a new photo of it showing it after the 2009 paint job.

 

Look what they did to the building!!!  All the trim is painted bright
yellow.  It appears the sundial is untouched, but the look of the building
has been changed significantly.  I'm not sure if I like the new look.  Do
you think the bright yellow detracts from the sundial or enhances it?
