Hi Fabio, I've just had a play with your program and it looks good.
I put in my location which is near Melbourne Australia: 145 deg 12' longitude East, 37 deg 59' South. and it shows the SUN being south of the equator. Am I reading the results incorrectly. The data are updated every second: www.nonvedolora.it/gnomonica/coordinate.php?lingua=en The data are: system clock, GMT 0, EoT, true local hour, Sun declination, daylight, time to sunset, time from sunrise, height and azimuth. In these days I've added some new tasks, now it is possible: - to choose the pointer on the map - to copy the settings of the page to address it - to save the settings as default - to show data for a given time - to show an icon with the Sun to point out the azimuth from the pointer I tested the page with IE7 and Firefox, any suggestion and any bug reporting are welcome ciao Fabio Fabio Savian [email protected] Paderno Dugnano, Milan, Italy 45° 34' 10'' N 9° 10' 9'' E GMT +1 (DST +2) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Valentin Hristov" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 22, 2009 2:07 PM Subject: A Sun Path question > Dear Sundial Friends, > I have seen a web page giving a (java) graph of the position of the Sun > with the azimuth on the horizontal axis and the height on the vertical > axis for arbitrary coordinates. > Unfortunately, I have lost the web address. > I tried Google, but perhaps I do not use the proper way of searching. > I hope someone of you could help to find the page. > Thank you in advance! > Valentin > > > --------------------------------------------------- > https://lists.uni-koeln.de/mailman/listinfo/sundial > > --------------------------------------------------- https://lists.uni-koeln.de/mailman/listinfo/sundial -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
