Dear Sundial Friends, Thank you very much for the response to my request! I am sure everyone has opened with interest the variety of web addresses in the mail messages.

Universal Flag Combo - Sun Compass and Sundial It can be used at any place on Earth !!! I decided to reverse the principles of the Universal Ring Dial and of the Equatorial Dial. First the North-South direction is determined with simultaneous rotation of the base and the flag and then the flag position gives the Local Time on the Sundial scale. Longitude and EoT corrections are printed on the back of the scale. A small file with a picture of this combo is attached and I hope it will pass through the server. 2. Polar Half-Cylinder The Light-Shadow boundary on a half-cylinder with polar axis gives the Civil and/or Daylight savings time. Best wishes! Valentin Hristov
