Hi, Fabio Savian translate a replay by iphone of Fabio Garnero (Fabios and
Fabiog)

I don't think he is Galileo, I think it may be a classical representation of
astronomy, quite often in Piedmont (Piemonte is the region of this sundial e
where lives Fabiog. Note of Fabios)

Non ci vedo Galileo, piuttosto una classica rappresentazione dell'astronomia
come se ne vedono diverse in Piemonte.

  Hi Fabio
  A really interesting dial !
At the top of the building there is a picture of someone (Gallileo?) doing
something with sunlight, an armillary sphere & a survey instrument.... see

    Hi Roger,

about the French Republican system I've a message from Fabio Garnero
(Saluzzo, Cuneo, Italy, [email protected]).
The sundial you have reported shows the French Revolution time but it is a
modern sundial (1989).
This sundial www.sundialatlas.eu/atlas.php?so=IT2810 is on a building of
the XVII century and the sundial was built in the right time.

    ciao Fabio
