Surely there must be someone from Prague on this excellent sundial
mail list who might be able to make representations to those
responsible for the clock?
It would be nice to see it working as it should do...
Failing that can someone tell us to whom we should all write?
Having been there quite often I don't see it happening....
There's a whole industry built around that clock. Coffee shops where
you can buy a 5 Euro latte and watch it. Tour buses that come in on
schedule to watch the clock. A whole raft of cottage industries that
set up shop in the square every day.
I would like to see it "fixed" but Prague runs on tourism and tourists
drop a huge amount of money in that square. Unless you can show that it
will make more money the "right" way I don't see it changing.
