Hi Darek,

Having so many sundials in one city would be great. We only have one sundial in a public garden near our library, In the city of Dandenong Victoria Australia. But Dandenong is only around 150 years old. There was bush and aboriginals here before that. I also have a sundial watch somewhere packed away in a box, think it is a Swatch. The pocket sundial, how old is that?

The video was interesting, thanks.

Regards,

Roderick Wall.

Dear Diallists,

A few weekes ago I was invited by a local TV station to a talk about sundials of Warsaw. Our capital has the highest number of dials of all Polish cities - 40 sundials can be seen here and few others are scheduled for construction this year. I got a call from a reporter on sunday night and the interview was about to take place next morning. To make it more attractive I had taken a few dials from my little private collection and met the lady and her crew next to a famous sundial in a park. The interview was made live in two parts resulting in a total of 8 minutes of talk on the subject. Just two days ago I have got a recording which is now available on YouTube. It is set as personal so to access it one needs to click the following URL:

Have fun watching and don't worry if you wont understand a word :)
