Dear Dialists,

A friend of mine was touring the Midwestern US and came upon this dial at
the Marland Estate Mansion, built by an oil baron in Oklahoma in the 1920s.
An amazing estate, especially because it is situated in a remote area of the
county.

The dial must have undergone some restoration, because the photo on the web
site mentions that it is missing the gnomon. Attached is a very small low
res image of the dial and gnomon. I'll contact the estate and see if they
would like it in the NASS registry, and find out who did the restoration.
