I know this disclaimer was stating the obvious to most of
you but I was just thinking there must be other sundial
newbies on this list like myself. I just don't want any of
them to be misled by my posts.
It makes me curious about this list and the sundial
societies. Are there any indications that interest is
growing in sundials? Any guess what percentage of members
are newbies or amateurs?

I just want to say that I hope nobody takes my posts as fact.
I'm not a scientist or an expert by any stretch, so my posts
are basically all guesses.
Also, apologies for flooding the list with so many posts. I
get excited sometimes.
From the looks of my backyard in the photos, I should
probably spend more time cleaning my yard or trying to earn
a living than trying to make sundials. But this is so much fun.
