Hi Dave, I found the following Paper, Vertical Sundial calculator for a Window or wall interesting.
(1) It uses Google Earth to measure how much the window declines from north (southern hemisphere) or south (northern hemisphere). (2) Generates and prints a paper cut-out vertical sundial that can be stuck onto your window or wall. http://sundial.damia.net/ This is a good calculator as it lets anyone with a Computer/printer and Internet connection to make their own vertical sundial.
