dear Dennis

I walked the Camino in the august 2008, 500 km in 20 days. The Camino is about
800 km and I had to skip some traits, usually it needs 30 days.
During the walking I found 31 sundials. I didn't know their locations and
probably I missed many sundials closed to me. When walking few hundreds meters
are enough to miss them, especially if you don't know where they are.

On 2010 I add a 'path' on Sundial Atlas dedicated to the Camino where you can
find these 31 sundials : www.sundialatlas.eu/atlas.php?sp=113
You can find other photos of the Camino itself in the menu 'path'.

In the last months Pedro Novella added a lot of cards of sundials of Northern
Spain and I think to update my path with many of them. In the meanwhile you can
also use the menu 'map' to zoom the traits of Camino and to find the sundials
in the views.

If you need other info about the Camino please write me, in those days I wrote
an email, every day, to the italian mail list reporting the sundials I found
and other news.

ciao Fabio

Oggetto: Sundials along the Camino de Santiago de Compostela

I have followed this list serve for some time, although I have not been an
active participant. I have very much appreciated the passionate discussions.

Does anyone know of a resource way marking sundials close by or on the Camino
de Santiago de Compostela?

I will be walking this path in a few months and would love the opportunity to
mix my interests.

Thanks for the opportunity to ask.

Dennis Jordan
