RV: Request for information concerning an old sundialThe five is not inverted, it is only written with old gliph. Also in Italy the number five was in olden times written in this way. The sign is similar to 4 with rounded zigzag line similar to a G. and it was tipical of the 14th up to the 16th century. Please see A.
