Hello!

I'm trying to build a reflecting sundial in my library room - or at least a
reflecting noon mark. The room is about 3 meters wide on the window side
and about 4 meters long. The window faces almost perfectly south and I am
looking for tips as to how to attach the mirror to the window and what
would be the optimal mirror size and shape. Would it be better to attach it
on the inside or on the outside? Also, doesn't light refraction through
glass mess things up? Since I'd like the sundial to show as many hour lines
as possible, I figured the mirror needs to be only about one meter lower
than the ceiling. I was thinking about gluing the mirror on the end of a
car phone holder attached to the window glass. Please be so kind as to
share some insights into these issues.

As far as the math is concerned, Simon Wheaton-Smith's spreadsheets are
proving really useful to me.

Thanks again!
