Hey Group,
Yesterday I came across an interesting bit of information while reading an
astronomy book by German author Peter Hummel ("Was uns die Sterne
verraten"). It is said there that the blueprint of the Dome in Aachen (West
Germany, near Cologne) follows the same layout as Stonehenge and that the
Sun casts interesting "90 degree shadows" from the windows above through
the iron latticework of the balconies during midday equinoxes.
I then found this early 90's film on Youtube which briefly discusses the
subject from 04:50 onwards.

I wonder if anyone has more up to date info on this.
