Hi Wojtek,
I'm sorry this doesn't seem to have worked for you. Having
retired from commercial dial making I no longer maintain a website so a direct
link isn't possible as far as I am aware. The British Sundial Society website
is freely available to anyone at < sundialsoc.org.uk > so you don't have to be
a member to view the film. You will find a link under 'Recent Articles' at the
very top of the home page.

I hope this helps,

Tony M.

Hi Tony,

Thank you for your reference to some old but cheap technologies of importance
for our sundial community. I think we would have much more fun ( ) had you
provided us a link to the film (preferably a link that would be accessible also
for those who are not yet members of the British Sundial Society).

Best regards,

Wojtek

Subject: Photo-etching
Hi all,
In this age of 3D printing and laser engraving photo-etching is
fairly 'old hat' I suppose BUT it is also cheap to make a start with home-made
equipment. Of course there may be newcomers to the SML to whom it could be
both new and relevant. In clearing out 20+ years of sundialling material from
my hard drive I came upon a short < m4v > film I made years ago with a clock
making friend which describes the whole process in low-budget 'kitchen table'
terms. Bill Visick has kindly made it available via The British Sundial Society
website. Apologies if you've seen it before in some other offering.

Have Fun!

Tony Moss.
