This was supposed to happen somewhen during the period of his reign which felt in years 604-606. Now, do we have any hard evidence of this statement? Any exact copy of this order, perhaps a translation from Latin? Was it just a single sentence eg. "You shall make a sun dyal on every church" or something more elaborate, with detailed instructions and explanations? I would be very grateful for any help.
