Hello Donald:

I always used the nice program made by Piers Nicholson (I think). It’s easy to
use and will give you the data you said you need.

Hope this helps,

Subject: Find true north

Years ago I wrote a program to find the true north. It has since been corrupted
and I have to make a new one. My notes have been lost as well so I have to
research how to again

In my old program I inputted the longitude and the standard meridian. It then
calculates the difference. It also looks up the equation of time and adjusts
for this. It then prints out a yearly calendar.

Example

On this certain day and month, the sun will be directly overhead at 11:23:17.
However, on this certain day and month, the sun will be directly overhead at
1:13:25

Will you help find the math and an eot chart?

Also, Is there a website that does this already? When I write the program I
want to test it for accuracy.

Cheers
