Just curious is anyone here has srss 2.0 working with openldap for authentication? I'm working on setting up 20 sunrays for a call center environment with planned growth to 20 or so more. The server is an E450(migrating to a V880 soon) with Sol8 07/03 patched. We currently use openldap and NDS for authentication. I'm not sure if only the pam.conf needs modification or if I'm missing something else with the software. I've tried making changes to the pam.conf for dtlogin-sunray and dtsession-sunray entries to point to our padl.so library, but I am still unable to authenticate. Local users can authenticate without issues. Also when users ssh into the server padl/ldap works ok. I suspect it's all tied to my pam.conf, but not 100% sure where else to look. Also if anyone has any documentation on the following, it would be appreciated.
