Hi

I would find a software version of the SunRay Client very usefully.
I have a SunRay on my desk (well two actually running multi headed so that
one is used for gnome and the other runs rdesktop for when I have to use
windows boxes ;-(. Often I need to work in our labs which don't have SunRays
or on our help desk. I can transfer the windows connection but not the
gnome session :-(.

Being able to connect to the gnome session from home would also be a big
plus.

The other option I had thought about was a wireless SunRay ( SunRay 1 with a
usb wireless device maybe) but then that rather goes against the HotDesk
philosophy of SunRays.

One thing we are looking at at the moment is converting old PC's into thin
clients running RDP (rdesktop) and X using thinstation software
(http://thinstation.sourceforge.net).

A software Sunray client would be nice to have on this platform. It allows
the user to connect their USB storages devices to windows sessions, but I
don't think allows the device to X sessions.

Cheers
