But I have some problems with it. The "-ar1" options works ony when I add the "+kb" option, too. Though it seems that the Gnome (blastwave) keyboard-switching applet does not like this - it doesn't start anymore when the X Keyboard Extension is enabled. OK, no SUN problem. But the "-ar2" option seems to have no effect at all. I tried values between 20 and 500 and counted the number of characters written by pressing a key for 15 seconds in a dtterm under CDE - no significant change. I always checked that the Xsun process serving my Sun Ray got the right parameters: #pargs 16222 16222: /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun :15 -nobanner -auth /var/dt/A:15-pgay5b +kb -ar1 100 -ar2 argv[0]: /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun argv[1]: :15 argv[2]: -nobanner argv[3]: -auth argv[4]: /var/dt/A:15-pgay5b argv[5]: +kb argv[6]: -ar1 argv[7]: 100 argv[8]: -ar2 argv[9]: 60 argv[10]: -nobanner argv[11]: -dpms >> - We activated the "non-smartcard mobile session" behaviour. >> Sometimes, mouse and keyboard stop working when users >> running Gnome (the version from blastwave.org) reattach their session. > As an experiment you could remove (comment out) the pam_sunray > module from the 'xscreensaver' PAM configuration. Blastwave's xscreensaver package is compiled without PAM support. Perhaps I should deactivate it completely.
