We are using the 1g with Dell UltraSharp TFTs the 17", 19" and 20" at resolutions from 1280x1024 to 1600x1200, as well as various random CRTs at resolutions of 640x480 to 1600x1200 and everything has worked beautifully. This is using both pure DVI and DVI-to-DB-15(?) connectors.

We have also done multihead for a xinimera resolution of 3200x1200, and then one time I got bored and ended up with a resolution of 10240x1024.

For some pictures and a movie checkout http://www.math.purdue.edu/resources/computing/faq/#x3, last 3 links on the page, the movie is in quicktime format so it won't play on a SunRay :(.

I've seen the specs for the sunray 1g monitor support. Question is what monitors are actually tested/supported/recommended? Thought I saw this somewhere on the Sun site, but can't find it again.

Anybody using the 1g? High resolution? How's it working?

TIA
Bob
