Note that it is possible to build/configure a Sun server to be 'very
reliable' and close to highly available to eliminate single points of
failure:

- multiple cpu boards + memory
- multiple power supplies
- raided disk systems
- multiple nics connected to a redundant network infrastructure.

(I built one of these using older Enterprise Servers and SRS2.0)

Then, depending on the specific area of failure, the server will stay up and
you can fix that hardware... The extra hardware of course costs more $, but
it is the only viable option until there is session migration, which is a
computer science project...
