Has anyone tried setting up the Sun Rays in CAM mode to present non-card
users with the Windows login but card users with Solaris JDS? We have
done this but are running into issues when Solaris users pull out their
card to switch to a Windows screen. I think it is activating
xscreensaver or xlock so we try entering the root password but the
password is not accepted (authentication failed message). Does anyone
have experience with this setup? Has anyone tried other solutions for
accomodating different user preferences on the same sun ray server group?
The following versions are being used:
Solaris 10
SRSS 3.1 alpha in CAM
Windows 2003 TS
kerberos authentication
rDesktop to launch windows
