Couple of ways to skin a cat.
If you want to really keep your MAC's then you can always X-display the
Solaris applications back or even better use Tarantella to deliver them
to the MAC's.
Granted you don't do windows, but if you want to keep Sun Rays on
everyones desk would you do Wine/Codeweavers? You could setup a Linux
CrossOver Office Server and deliver the Windows version of QBP to the
Sun Rays (all without Windows).

idea of moving away from it and all its features like session
portability.
